| ALASKA FLOATPLANE |
 Large Image |
Lake Hood, next to Anchorage International is the busiest float plane harbor in the world and we spend some time
there watching the activity. Then we're off to Katmai National park to see the bears. We travel there in the right
hand front seat of a Dehavilland Beaver of Rust's Flying Service, across the tundra and through the magnificent
Clark River Valley, where mountains and glaciers tower over our aircraft. We spend a little time in Katmai,
watching a young bear learning to fish, then it's back to Anchorage on the Beaver. Spectacular Alaskan scenery!

| CONNIE CLOSEUP |
 Large Image |
Ride the flightdeck of not 1, but 2, Lockheed Constellations! Start with an explanation of the engineeers panel, then we see startup, taxiing and take off from both inside the aircraft and airside. You are riding in the MATS Connie, owned by the Constellation Group, restored and doing the show circuit. For today's flight, it's check ride time for the pilots of the Swiss "Save a Connie" group, and we shoot an approach at Tucson International (TUS). You'll see the landing from both inside the aircraft and airside, then it's on to the Dutch Connie, now at the Aviodome in the Netherlands. gain, you'll see startup, taxiing and takeoff from both inside the aircraft and airside. This is a test flight after the long restoration project, there are two engineers, and the pilot is the legendary Frank Lang. You'll see the landing, again, both from inside the aircraft and airside. There's even a landing looking into the front wheelwell from the front baggage compartment (don't ask!!). Due to a conflict with another program title this program has been renamed Connie Close Up.

it's disappearing colorful tails) & British Midland, the big carriers are JMC Air, Air 2000, Britannia and Monarch.
Some of the other carriers seen are Manx, Air Malta, Air Scandic, Kenya Airways, Portugalia, TransAer, Air Hong Kong

| AMSTERDAM SCHIPHOL 2001 |
 Large Image |
The best airport I've seen from a shooters (and a watcher's) point of view, with no fences, just canals, and the heavies plopping down right in front
of you. Loads of KLM B747/MD-11/B767 action, lots of landings and takeoffs, some sunset and evening shots, some heavies landing after rain (nice spray)
and some quite strange stuff, including a Lebanese B707. One of the nicest airport programs I've done, just tons of action. No captions, some narration.
