Take a private historic trolley tour of the City! Climb aboard for a private charter tour of San Francisco’s trolley lines in historic car No. 1, built by Holman in 1912. Ride the F-Market line to the Embarcadero and Fishermans Wharf, then take Market St. to the J-Church line through Dolores Park, past the Geneva St. carhouse, the M-Ocean View line to West Portal, and on to the L-Taraval line to 46th Ave. You’ll also see historic PCC cars and Milano streetcars, as well as modern LRV’s. Rock steady on-board sequences feature "motorman’s eye" view of the tracks, complemented by track side scenes. Includes some rare mileage over tracks not normally used in revenue service. Digitally recorded Hi-Fi stereo audio and limited narration let you hear the clanging of the bell, the growls of the traction motors, and the whining of the gears! Approximately 3 hours on two tapes. |
