Rare footage of the railroads of New England. The "Berkshires" and "Hudsons" of the Boston & Albany, R3 "Mountain-Types" and "Moguls" of the New Haven, "Pacifics" of the Boston & Maine", Two-foot gauge steamers at Edaville and excursions on the Monadnock, Steamtown & Northern are featured. Also seen are the B&M's "Flying Yankee" at Old Orchard Beach, Maine, New Haven diesels at Southbridge, Massachusetts, a New Haven "Bud Car" at Webster, Massachusetts and the famed British "Flying Scotsman" on its tour of the US.
