Trackside 2 is a magazine format program, and in this issue #2 you can see a late afternoon and evenings worth of action at Joliet, Illinois, south of Chicago on BNSF's main line. Amtrak and Metra (F40PHs and "Winnebagos") and an Iowa Interstate train with geeps make for diverse action. Next is Fall action on CSX's famed Sand Patch Grade where a couple of Chessie painted units show up. The final section of the program is the Livonia, Avon and Lakeville on a glorious September 1999 morning. We chased the train, led by a C424 and a C425 with an RS1 on the rear to bring you some super Alco action. 85 Minutes. |
