As Monty Python used to put it "and now for something completely different". The Utah Railway has the only
6 MK5000's built, and they ply their trade dragging coal trains over Soldier Summit. They sound very different
with their big Caterpillar prime movers, and they look splendid in the Utah's red and gray paint. We visited
Soldier Summit in January, 2002, and were granted permission to visit the loader, the unit's cab, and Martin
