| STEAM ON THE DOUBLE AND CHEYENNE STEAM TRAIN |

|
Two exciting programs featuring the Denver Post Cheyenne Frontier Days Trains have been re-edited and combined into this new DVD. The best kept secret of 1996 was the surprise double-header with 844 and Challenger 3985 on July 20, 1996. No. 844, fresh out of the shop after a 5 year rebuild, put on a fine performance running between Cheyenne and Denver. See charging line side action and high speed pacing as the 844+3985 double-headers strut their stuff! Also includes the 3985 double-heading with Centennial 6936, and scenes of the first E9 diesel powered excursion in 1994. In 1997 Valhalla paired with The Denver Post to produce the Official Video of the Cheyenne Frontier Days train. This time we were on the train, and in the cab of 844 while another Valhalla camera crew chased the train for line side action shots as well. The program concludes a visit to Big Boy No. 4004 on display in Holladay Park in Cheyenne. All current UP excursion locomotives are shown in operation. These two action packed programs on one DVD have a combined running time of 1 hour and 25 minutes. As always, the program is packaged in a durable plastic library case with a full color printed cover. Digitally re-mastered with Hi-Fi stereo audio and limited narration.
DVD or VHS. An incredible bargain at only $24.95.
